Richard L. Yost

Richard L. Yost, 83, formerly of Douglassville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Southeastern Veteran’s Center in Spring City, PA. Born in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of the late William R. and the late Martha (Bellew) Yost. He was the widower of Mary F. (Flynn) Yost who passed away in 2023.

Richard worked for many years as an Operation Analyst for Vanguard. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking, watching the Phillies, tennis, and bowling.

He served our country in the U.S. Navy on board the U.S.S. Coral Sea CVA-43.

Richard is survived by his 2 sons: Christopher T. Yost and Patrick W. Yost; 2 brothers: Gary Groghan and William Yost; 2 sisters: Sharon Dragovich and Glenna McCormick; and his grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A time for sharing memories will begin at 5:00pm
