George H. Care

George H. Care, 89, of Birdsboro, Union Twp., PA passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in the comfort of his home on the farm, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Birdsboro, the son of the late Harry and the late Helen “Nanny” (Jones) Care. He was the husband of Linda A. (Walls) Care.

George worked as a crane operator for the former Birdsboro Steel Corp and later worked for Dyer’s Quarry. In his free time, he enjoyed farming and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, JoJo.

Surviving George, along with his wife, Linda; are his children: Lynne Sweitzer-Myers, Diana Care-Schollenberger, Kim Keller, Kathy Jo Cole, Trish Fox, and Philip Care; sister: Sarah Ehling; 10 grandchildren: John, Steph, Jonathan, Corbin, Patrick, Cera, Hunter, Cassidy, Carly, and Savannah; 7 great grandchildren: Tanner, Austin, Lillian, Weston, Jason, Carson, and Cade; and great great grandchild: Parker.

He was predeceased by his siblings: Lester, Lorraine, Darius, Helen, and Florence, and Ralph; and his granddaughter: Bille Jean Buckland.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
