Edward J. Zawora, Jr.

Edward J. Zawora, Jr., 85, of Birdsboro. PA passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Keystone Villa at Douglassville. He was born in Newark, NJ, the son of the late Edward J. Zawora, Sr. and the late Rosemary (Carmody) Zawora. He was the loving husband of Carole A. (Beidler) Zawora.

Edward worked most of his life as a Tool & Die Maker for Stanley G. Flagg. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Ed had a love of music, playing in oldies and polka bands during his lifetime. He was a member of the Birdsboro VFW Post 411 and Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church.

Surviving Edward, along with his wife, Carole, is his son: Edward J. Zawora, III, husband of Michele; daughter: Christine Fick, wife of Bryan; 4 grandchildren: Sean, Hannah, Ryan, and Eli; and great grandson: Liam.

He was predeceased by his sisters: Carole Ihrig and Sandra Sutaris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville, PA 19518. A visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM prior to mass at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Birdsboro VFW Post 411, 321 E. Main St. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
